| San Antonio, TX (Sports Network) - Mike Mitchell, a former forward with the San Antonio Spurs, passed away after a battle with cancer at the age of 55 on Thursday. Mitchell was drafted 15th overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers in 1978 and he played there until being traded to San Antonio on December 24, 1981.
