| Ann Arbor, MI (Sports Network) - The son of Detroit Pistons great Joe Dumars is leaving the University of Michigan basketball team because of knee and shoulder injuries. Jordan Dumars transferred to Michigan from South Florida midway through his freshman season two years ago but has never played a game for the Wolverines. | Alicante, Spain (Sports Network) - Former Duke University star Kyle Singler, a second-round pick of the Detroit Pistons, has agreed to play in Europe for the Spanish club Lucentum Alicante. The team said the deal includes an opt-out clause that will allow Singler to return to the Pistons once the NBA lockout ends. Singler led Duke to the NCAA title in the spring of 2010 as a junior and was named the Final Four's Most Outstanding Player. |

| Auburn Hills, MI (Sports Network) - Scotty Robertson, who preceded Chuck Daly as head coach of the Detroit Pistons, passed away on Thursday after a lengthy illness. He was 81. Robertson, who was the first coach of the New Orleans Jazz in 1974, later coached the Chicago Bulls and the Pistons.
