Boston, MA (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Boston Bruins have signed defenseman
Johnny Boychuk to a two-year contract extension.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Boychuk recorded five goals and 10 assists in 51 games this past season, his
first full-time season in the NHL.
He added a pair of goals and four helpers in 13 playoff games.
The Colorado Avalanche made Boychuk a second round selection in the 2002 NHL
Entry Draft and he appeared in four games for them during the 2007-08 season
before being dealt to Boston after that season.

Marlins could start season without No. 2 starter Johnson

Josh Johnson won't be ready when the season starts April 2.
